Bass Lures?
ive been using a 2.5 or 3 inch swimming minnow with a rattle and ive got plenty of bites but they are small bass like 1-2 pounders
is i use a bigger minnow like a 5 or 6 inch minnow or shad will i get bigger fish or none at all?
Its a soft bait by the way
i would try the bigger minnow but maybe slow your presentation just a bit,i have caught plenty of big bass on fast moving lures simply from reaction strikes.but the majority of the lunkers are caught at a snails pace,big bass adapt a lazy eating style as they get bigger they usually dont get very big if they chase everything that goes by.try subtle variations remove the rattle,smaller line diameter,slowly hop the bait,scent spray the combinations are endless.if all else fails at least you know how to catch 1-2 pounders
